Our Farm Story

In 1881, the Mitchell/Dryer family first purchased 202-acres of land  in the Calvey Creek Valley called Hillrock Farm. The picturesque setting became home to cattle, pigs, sheep and chickens, and the farm became the heart of the family as generations worked the land and fields.

In 2004, the 8th generation of the family, Rich and Kariann Dryer, became full-time stewards of the farm.

They teach sustainable farming and family values to their children, Grace, Annalise and Nathanael. The whole family works together to care for cattle, horses, pigs, goats and chickens while instilling timeless values.

More than 130 years later, the Dryer family legacy continues on the same land that birthed a dream and raised generations before us.
